This one started it all. The Porter is a side table cut from a single sheet of 10-gauge mild steel. The profile is simple — a square body with an arc cut from the base, which does two things: it lifts the table visually and gives it a silhouette that draws you in from across the room. The finish is raw mild steel sealed with natural wax, which means the mill scale stays intact. It works next to a chair, beside a sofa, at the end of a bed. The top is flat and generous; 18" every direction. The proportions are quiet. It doesn't shout — it just holds its ground. Available in any powder coat color (white shown) if raw steel isn't your finish. But the raw version is the one worth getting.
