The Hays is a side table built from two materials that don't usually share a joint — wood and bullet proof acrylic. The top is 1.25". The legs are turned, solid wood with a natural finish. Where the two materials meet at each corner, a turned oak peg marks the connection. Structural, made visible. Most furniture hides its joinery. The Hays puts it at the corner and leaves it there. Works as a side table, end table, or small occasional table. The square top is generous without being oversized. Takes a lamp, a book, a plant, a drink — all four if you want. 18" in every direction.
